The sale of this production is 22 to 24 boxes of eggs per day. These boxes are sold at approximately $36 each, as the highest price up to $50 per box.
For pigs, this farm has 2 galleys, one of them is enabled for 120 offspring, as piglet production, the second galley has a capacity for 1,000 pigs in fattening process. This farm currently produces 45 pigs per week for slaughter and the profit for each is approximately $230 - $235 per animal.
The galleys for pigs have light, fans, plastic pallets to improve the hygiene of the galley, and floor washing system. It also has an oxidation tub. These galleys are in excellent condition since they were built approximately in 2016.
To cut expenses on the farm, the owners have also built a food manufacturing plant. Which supplies the food of all animals, (chickens and pigs). This galley has all the necessary equipment such as mixer, balance and 3 rows of storage, there are currently 2,800 quintals stored. It is exclusive for the use of the farm but its production is 250 quintals per day and is a business that can be developed to distribute this food to the Panamanian market.
